Video with all the pictures of Kathmandu and its valley. The big extention of the valley's land is plenty of houses without any urban rules by the goverment authorities.
Kathmandu valley is formed by three old kingdoms, whose were joined by one royal family centuries ago in one. Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur were the kingdoms in fact. Every of these ones, have their own Palace square, called Durbar Sq.
The Durbar Sq of Kathmandu is considered Patrimony of Humanity, but such every city in India, the square is plenty of dirt, garbage and polution. Not all the money is enough to keep the maintenance and reconstruction labours in the square. In reality, the square has a lotta Hindu temples, statues of several gods and godnesses,... and doves, cows and slumdogs rambling and walking by the ways and streets whose cross beetwen the temples.
But there are some touristic places you shouldn't forget to visit for your stayment in the city.
These are Swayambhunath or the monkeys temple, with a long stair to get the stuppa. It's one of the venerable Tibetan temples.
Pashupatinath, a temple's complex near the Bagmati riversides, where the Hinduism belivers burn the bodies of their relatives when they die. It's a place full of misticism, faith and feelings. And not only for them, even for us. For all the visitors who go there to see a cremation. The place is plenty of shadus trying to make a picture with you, with the proposition to ask you for a coin or cash.
The biggest Tibetan stuppa is Bodhnath. Round it, there is the neighbourgh of all the Tibetans exiled from their land in Tibet. We had the chance to go inside a Tibetan Puja, and staring the chants and prays of the Tibetan monks and their young pupils.
And this is all of Nepal. I wish you have the chance in live to feel all the emotions that me and my fellows had in there, in this lovely mountain country. See you soon.
